2023-2024 CenterStage
Our recent virtual event brought the world of robotics, including, CAD, and VR VEX programming to over 30 underprivileged rural children in India.
Cub Scout Pack 110's Robotics Art Bot Adventure introduced young scouts to robotics through hands-on activities. They built Art Bots with batteries, motors, and everyday materials, guided by experienced mentors. The event emphasized teamwork, creativity, and basic STEM concepts. Participants personalized their Art Bots, earning special badges, and fostering a passion for science and technology in a fun and interactive way.
Our event brought together families, high school volunteers, and robotics enthusiasts for a day filled with exciting hands-on activities. Participants had the opportunity to design and create their own simulation end effectors, explore the fascinating world of scribble bots, and even take control of an FTC (First Tech Challenge) robot.
The event was a collaborative effort, with our dedicated high school volunteers leading the way. These passionate young individuals generously shared their knowledge and expertise with families and children, creating an inclusive and educational atmosphere. Families and kids were engaged in a variety of activities, from constructing cardboard hands as simulation end effectors to learning about the principles of robotics through the whimsical scribble bots.
One of the highlights of the event was the chance to drive around an FTC robot. Participants eagerly took the reins and navigated the robot through challenging courses, experiencing the thrill of robotics firsthand. This hands-on experience allowed them to understand the intricacies of robot control and appreciate the skills required to compete in robotics competitions.

As some members of our team were in these troops they were able to connect us with them.
We talked about FTC, and what robotics is. We also went over the Robotics merit badge, to get them more interested in what FTC is. Many people in the troop even replied to us saying they were interested in joining our team after the presentation.
We built EV3s to help scouts understand the design and build process of robots.
Helped Boy Scouts with Robotics Merit Badge
Included interactive designing, planning, and building
